Dremel Tungsten Carbide Cutter Teal Eighth-Inch Shank Model 9901

The Dremel 9901 Tungsten Carbide Cutter is a cylindrical high-speed bit made for materials that dull ordinary steel burrs. Tungsten carbide, the hardest material next to diamonds, keeps its cutting edge through hardened steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and nonferrous metals. Fired ceramics, plastics, and hard woods sit within the same working range, so a single accessory covers work that would otherwise take several bits. The standard 1/8" shank fits virtually any Dremel rotary tool, making this cutter a straightforward add-on for an existing kit. Owners report deburring and chamfering batches of hardened steel machined parts, plus detail cuts in aluminum and door strike modifications. Sold as a single piece in teal, this bit is Dremel's value-tier carbide cutter.
