The Koni STR.T Shock Absorber is used to improve suspension control, handling stability, and maintain consistent contact between your tyres and the road. It uses enhanced damping characteristics with non-adjustable, factory-set damping that is specifically tuned to suit the characteristics of each vehicle, allowing for faster response to suspension inputs while managing compression and rebound forces and supporting stable handling with both standard springs and lowering springs up to 40 mm.Explore the key features of this shock absorber:Vehicle-Specific Damping Calibration: Each damper is developed and factory-set to match the weight distribution, suspension geometry, and handling characteristics of specific vehicles, which ensures the damping response works in line with how the car is designed to behave, resulting in predictable handling, stable road holding, and consistent performance in everyday driving conditions.Uprated Damper Construction: Built with enhanced internal valving and damping characteristics, this design reacts quickly to changes in suspension movement and load transfer, which improves vehicle stability, supports consistent road holding, and results in more controlled handling during everyday driving.Compatibility With Standard And Lowered Springs: Engineered to operate with original equipment springs as well as performance lowering springs up to 40 mm, this flexibility allows you to maintain proper damping performance across different ride heights, ensuring predictable suspension behaviour and consistent ride control.Reduced Body Roll And Controlled Movement: The factory-set damping characteristics limit excessive suspension travel and body movement during cornering and braking, which helps maintain vehicle balance and reduces unwanted weight transfer, leading to a more stable and confidence-inspiring driving experience.KONI 2-Year Warranty Coverage: Supplied with a manufacturer-backed 2-year warranty, this coverage reflects KONI's quality standards and provides reassurance of durability and consistent performance over extended use, supporting long-term reliability as part of your suspension setup. You gain improved control over suspension movement, which supports more stable handling and predictable response during daily driving and longer journeys. The damping reacts quickly to changes in road surface and vehicle load, which helps maintain control during braking, cornering, and uneven surfaces. This makes it a practical addition to your vehicle setup, offering dependable performance and a considered upgrade in suspension control. Please note: Shock absorbers and dampers are sold individually unless otherwise stated. Where a specific left or right side is required, this will be shown in the vehicle fitment details.
