Thompson & Morgan White/Light Vaccinium (Blueberry) Corymbosum Jersey Potted Plant X 3 15Cm

Blueberry ‘Jersey’ is a tried-and-true variety, particularly suited for colder gardens due to its late flowering, which helps it avoid frost damage. This hardy and reliable plant produces high yields of medium-sized, delicious berries from late July to August, making it perfect for extending your blueberry harvest into late summer. Its tall, upright growth habit and beautiful seasonal changes—from sweetly scented creamy white flowers in spring to fiery crimson foliage in autumn—make it a stunning addition to any garden.  Not only are the berries from Blueberry ‘Jersey’ packed with health-boosting compounds, but they also add a delightful taste to pies, muffins, and jams. These shrubs are not just productive but also ornamental, thriving in acidic borders or large patio containers filled with ericaceous compost. Self-fertile and highly reliable, Blueberry ‘Jersey’ will produce its best crops when planted alongside another blueberry variety for enhanced pollination.  How to Grow Instructions Light: Plant in a sunny or semi-shaded position. Temperature: Suitable for colder gardens; late flowering avoids frost. Watering: Use rainwater if possible to maintain soil acidity. Feeding: Grow in ericaceous compost mixed with John Innes No. 3.Humidity: Ensure well-drained soil to avoid waterlogging. Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months). Decorative pots are not supplied.
