ABC de Christian Drouin | 70cl | 17% ABV | Calvados-based aperitif | Notes of fresh apple, cinnamon and citrus | Perfect served neat or in cocktails

Unique French aperitif - ABC de Christian Drouin is an exceptional and unique aperitif inspired by the history of French calvados and vermouth. It is a blend of apple juices and young calvados, which has been aged in oak barrels and aromatised with a bouquet of botanicals and spices including cinchona, mugwort, cinnamon, orange, elderflower and yuzu. Spiced and complex with notes of fresh apple, cinnamon and citrus - ABC de Christian Drouin offers rich aromas of fresh apples, cinnamon, yuzu, and elderflower. Hints of dried fruit, nuts, and herbal notes feature on the palate along with a touch of cinchona bitterness. The long, layered finish reveals baked apple, green tea, and bitter orange. Inspired by the history of French vermouth - A long-time fan of French vermouth, Guillaume Drouin has always been curious how its production techniques could be applied to the pommeaus, ciders, and calvados of Normandy. After years of experimentation, he finally perfected the first Aperitif à Base de Calvados (ABC) in June 2023. Family owned and traditionally produced - Christian Drouin Calvados, a renowned family-owned producer in AOC Calvados Pays d’Auge, creates artisanal Calvados from 35 organic apple varieties. Naturally fermented for 5-10 months, then double-distilled in Charentais pot stills, it produces a round, smooth spirit full of fruity richness.
