This official Gibson Kirk Hammett Greenybucker Humbucker Pickup Set is based on the unique sound of the PAF pickups installed in the legendary 1959 'Greeny' Les Paul (owned by Peter Green, Gary Moore and now Kirk Hammett).
Their distinctive sound is thanks to the out of phase middle switch position due to the neck pickup's reverse magnetic polarity and the neck pickup is designed to be installed the wrong way around (i.e. with the screw poles nearest the bridge pickup rather than the fretboard as normal). The Gibson Greenybucker pickup set was developed with specifications taken from the actual Patent Applied For humbucker pickups in the world renowned guitar, including asymmetrical coil windings that are left unpotted and unpolished Alnico 2 magnets. Shielded single conductor braided push back hookup wires and long leg base plates with 'patent applied for' stickers complete the pickups.Features

Refunds
